artist's bio Chelsea College of Art & Design, London, Les Ateliers de Paris, Paris,
Born in a Dutch artists family, Cecile first developed her drawing skills through life modelling and still life drawing. She then moved to children’s books illustration before specialising in soft pastels. Her best place for inspiration remains the village market where colourfull and a variety of products can be found such as mackerels, red mullets, crustaces, vegetables and the very French turnip. |
